INVITATION TO BID
AIRPORT BUILDING EMERGENCY REPAIR
Overview: The City of Unalaska requests sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of steel beams to support the existing glulam beams that show signs of rot damage at the Unalaska Tom Madsen Airport terminal building. The Work includes procuring and installing new structural steel WF beams added underneath the existing glulam beams at 19 locations: beams will attach to the HSS columns with welded shear tabs. The project will improve the airport building canopies in the front and back and ensure safe continued use of the facility.
Deadline: Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time on May 15, 2026 and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
