Facilities & Services
The Department of Ports and Harbors manages, maintains and operates 5 city-owned marine facilities: Unalaska Marine Center (which includes the USCG Dock), the Spit Dock, the Spit Light-Cargo Dock, the Robert Storrs Small Boat Harbor, and Carl E. Moses Boat Harbor.

The Spit Dock measures 2,400 linear feet. This facility offers multiple berths with long and short-term moorage for vessels up to 200 feet in length. Shore-power, refuse removal, and potable water are offered.

The Robert Storrs International Small Boat Harbor facility consists of 1,232 linear feet of floats, comprising 71 slips. Long-term slips and transient moorage spaces are available for vessels up to 60 feet. Potable water, shore-power, and refuse removal are available.

The Light Cargo Dock (LCD) was built in 2000 and consists of two sheet pile docks each having a 50-foot dock face with breasting dolphins located on either side of the sheet pile dock. The dock provides a total of 340 linear feet of space. The water depth is limited to 25 feet MLLW for the north dock and shallows out to 20 feetMLLW at the south dolphin of the south dock. Shore power, potable water and upland storage areas are available.

The Carl E. Moses Boat Harbor (CEM) facility consists of 52 slips and 345 LF. Long-term Slips and Transient Moorage spaces are available for vessels up to 150 feet. Potable water, shore power, and refuse removal are available, as well as restrooms and showers. There is also a drive-down floating dock available with a shore side crane with a 2,500 pound lifting capacity.
